Caretaker training is critical and yet, it continues to be left out of the hectic daily schedules which demand high levels of therapeutic contact hours (ie, intensive ABA).
Caretaker are paramount "behavioral-stewards" who hold the key to creating desired change and by far they play the most critical role in a loved one's or student's life in total. With user-friendly, non-technical and genuinely supportive services caretakers can provide a doable path to happiness in life and most importantly, long lasting, meaningful behavior change for their loved ones and students.
RST ultimately results in lifestyle changes for the entire community supporting their loved ones and students. Provided outside of regular therapeutic settings in home and community-based environments, caretakers are tasked with managing difficult intensities of hard to handle challenging behavior.
Many therapeutic programs for individuals displaying unattractive behavior on a frequent basis often ignore or exclude the extremely important role of caretakers. Loved ones and students diagnosed with autism and related pervasive, developmental and/or congenital cephalic disorders spend most of their lives with their primary caretakers & teachers and overall only spend minimal time with a therapists, even when the most intensive interventions are provided.
The RST approach and curricula based skills development program was built by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Certified Special Education Teachers and Parents of lovd ones diagnosed with RST is based on a foundation of scientifically evaluated, evidence driven methodology called "Behavior Skills Training" or BST. Ultimately the goals are individualized to the circumstances of the families we work which puts the most important people in the lives of loved ones with autism, pervasive & developmental delays, brain-based disorders and a variety of pervasive challenging behaviors including but not limited to physical aggression, property disruption, elopement, self-injury and caretakers provided within the family's natural environment but is also provided in a workshop format. Active caretaker participation helps us achieve sustained behavior change, of which they never even thought possible, creating more happiness.
Parent training should be palatable, doable, user-friendly and create some meaningful result fairly quickly. Accomplishing this takes a well designed curricula with caretakers as primary participants, professional coaching, weekly but brief practice sessions in analoge environments, specific feedback and active caretaker participation.

Therefore, we've dedicated our entire lives to helping other parents, caretakers and teachers benefit from very powerful teaching, behavioral & medical sciences.
